​1) Raw-Material Storage and Process Drying: The essential raw-materials are to be transported and fed into the production system through conveyor belts,rails etc. During transport and storage of raw-material, there is a chance of proliferation of bacteria and mould growth if humidity conditions are moist. To tackle such scenerios, dry air is indispensible.

2) Product Drying : The quality of the product produced can be hampered by inappropriate RH levels in the air. To tackle this, Desiccant Dehumidifiers enable operations to work unrestricted running mositure free troughout the year. For instance, in Gelatin Drying procedure, an efective RH of 20% must be continuously maintained otherwise it woudl lead to microbial growth, unwanted melting of gel affecting the bio-degradabil;it of the gelatin. Other examples are Tablet Coating, Tablet Straining, Vial Filling, Tablet Compression Process etc.

3) Product Production and Packing : The moisture in the air might affect the end-product quality if it is not properly regulated. Hence, It is vitally important to ensure optimum RH levels in the air to protect the product from any damage and keeping its properties intact. The weighing process and the mixing process are usually processed under strictly controlled RH conditions for more process effectivity. Example, In Tablet Coating process, an effective RH of 15 - 30 % has to be maintained otherwise, the formed coating is rough and discolored. Moreover, formation of lumps is eliminated. Additionally, Blister packing, filling, tablet wrapping also need conditioned moisture levels.
